Masters racing is live across the country with many getting out for a training or race event within their division! Thank you to all the organizers across the country for going above and beyond this season to make these opportunities available for the masters community! And thanks to YOU the racers for your patience, cooperation and adaptability as we navigate this unusual season! As you make your plans, please be sure to read the event fact sheets and understand the regulations for where you live and the event location. We are excited that the upcoming FIS Masters Cup/Western Regional Championships event February 5-7 in Big Sky, MT will kick off the FIS Masters Cup for this season! If you are considering attending the World Criterium in Cortina, please let us know ASAP so we can provide the organizers with an estimate. February 12-14 brings the Eastern Regional Championships to West Mountain, NY and we are excited to announce there will now be two SG races, both scored for the National Speed Series! Looking forward, we hope to have an announcement for the Nationals soon and will update with more information as soon as possible.

Call for FIS 2021 World Criterium Cortina D'Ampezzo Registration Intents (Estimate Due 1/27)

We are excited that the upcoming FIS Masters Cup/Western Regionals event in Big Sky, MT will kick off the FIS Masters Cup for this season! If you are considering any international travel this season, especially the World Criterium in Cortina, please let us know. It is still largely unknown what will happen with international travel restrictions in the next few months, but still helpful to know who may be considering travel should restrictions ease up. Below are some links that may help you to research the current status and track things moving forward.

2021 Phillips 66 FMC/Western Regional Championships Registration - Almost Full!

Race registration closes 1/31 at midnight. The event is nearly full for GS. Everyone registered at this point is in. Above 90, race registrations will be on the waitlist and accepted based on the number of international registrations - once online registration closes on 1/31 we will reach out to those on the waitlist.

FIS Rules Reminder:
1. As of the 2020-2021 season FIS helmet is REQUIRED for all FIS level Masters competitions.
2. Fluoros are allowed at FIS level competitions in 2020-2021.
3. All U.S. Ski & Snowboard Masters Members can compete, but a FIS Masters License is required for racers 30 years and older. ***If you have FIS Masters points, you MUST renew by January 28th to be on the current points list! If you renew after that date, you will not have points for start list seeding and will be placed in the unseeded group at the end of your age class.***  Check FIS Masters License Status     Renew/Add FIS Masters License

Lift Ticket Update

If you plan to use an IKON pass, reserve your days through their website ASAP, Big Sky is limiting the number of IKON pass holders allowed per day. Anyone unable to get reservations will be able to purchase racer tickets and family tickets through the lift ticket link. If you have lodging booked through Big Sky Resort, ask if they are able to assist with securing IKON reservations.
